My Healing Journey
Subject: My Healing Journey – A Deeper Look Into Brain Rejuvenation & Recovery Modalities
Dear TLC Warrior Family,
I want to share a vulnerable and personal chapter of my own healing journey. As many of you know, I walk this path with you—not just as your provider, but as someone who has also faced the deep and layered challenges of mold illness, Lyme disease, neuroinflammation, and the relentless symptoms of chronic fatigue and brain fog.
Over the past few months, I’ve been diving into advanced therapies that have helped me regain clarity, stamina, and hope. Today, I want to explain the “why” behind some of the cutting-edge treatments I’ve used recently—and how they may be relevant for your own healing journey.
🧠 Exosomes via Nasal Delivery (The Nasal Dart)
What are exosomes?
Exosomes are nano-sized vesicles secreted by stem cells that serve as messenger systems in the body. They carry growth factors, RNA, DNA fragments, and proteins that help coordinate cellular repair, reduce inflammation, and regenerate tissue.
Why use them nasally?
Because the olfactory nerve directly accesses the brain through the nasal cavity, delivering exosomes intranasally bypasses the blood-brain barrier. This “nasal dart” method allows exosomes to go straight to the source of dysfunction—targeting areas affected by mold toxicity, chronic Lyme neuroinflammation, and long COVID-induced brain injury.
I personally used inhaled exosomes to address persistent brain fog, memory lapses, and word retrieval issues. Within days, I noticed improved clarity and decreased neural fatigue—subtle shifts that slowly built into real momentum.
🌬️ Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy involves breathing 100% pure oxygen in a pressurized chamber, increasing oxygen delivery to tissues by up to 20x.
Why it’s so powerful for mold & Lyme warriors:
Enhances mitochondrial function, the powerhouses of your cells that are often damaged by biotoxins.
Promotes angiogenesis (new blood vessel formation), helping to restore blood flow to oxygen-deprived tissues, including the brain.
Improves neuroplasticity, aiding brain recovery from toxic, infectious, and inflammatory insults.
Inhibits biofilms and helps eradicate anaerobic infections that are common in chronic Lyme.
I used HBOT as a foundational therapy to nourish my brain, reduce post-exertional crashes, and enhance the effectiveness of other therapies. It helped me sleep better, think more clearly, and start dreaming again—a small but profound sign of neurological restoration.
🔄 Therapeutic Plasma Exchange (TPE)
TPE is a blood purification process that removes circulating toxins, autoantibodies, inflammatory cytokines, and infectious debris. In chronic illness, your plasma becomes a toxic soup that continues to circulate illness signals even after infections or exposures have ended.
Why it’s transformative:
Helps reset the immune system by removing harmful immune complexes.
Clears out mold biotoxins, Lyme toxins, and neuroinflammatory mediators.
Can dramatically reduce autoimmune flares, POTS, and neurological symptoms.
For me, TPE was like hitting the reset button on a chaotic immune system. It lightened the toxic load that my organs had been carrying for years and gave me a new baseline to heal from.
🌱 Stem Cell Therapy
Stem cells are the building blocks of regeneration. Whether harvested from umbilical cord, bone marrow, or adipose tissue, they release growth factors and cytokines that stimulate healing, reduce inflammation, and replace damaged or senescent cells.
Why stem cells for mold and Lyme patients?
Restore function to damaged nervous, muscular, and connective tissues.
Aid in vascular repair, especially in those with dysautonomia and microcirculation issues.
Reduce systemic inflammation and autoimmunity.
Support hormonal regulation and tissue rejuvenation after years of stress and illness.
In my case, stem cell therapy brought unexpected improvements in energy, tissue repair, skin health, and emotional resilience. These subtle shifts added up, helping me feel more grounded, more human, and more hopeful.
✈️ TLC Summer Hours: Please Read
We will be traveling to Europe as a family to celebrate Gio’s graduation from AEMT school, and I couldn’t be more proud! 🎓🌍 As such, TLC hours will be variable over the next three weeks. We're intentionally building in rest time for our incredible team to reboot, restore, and recalibrate as well.
If you’re needing healing support or want to receive IVs, hyperbaric oxygen, or other therapies during this time, we kindly ask that you call ahead or book an appointment, rather than just dropping in. This allows us to serve you with the attention and care you deserve, while also protecting our team’s rhythm during this short season of recalibration.
💚 Final Thoughts
These therapies are not quick fixes—they are powerful tools that must be paired with foundational support: detox, nutrition, emotional healing, spiritual connection, and lifestyle shifts. But when used at the right time, they can help you turn a corner in your healing journey.
I’ve been there—on the floor, exhausted, brain fogged, and full of doubt. If you’re there now, please know: healing is not linear, but it is real. There is no one-size-fits-all approach, but there is a path for you.
If you’re interested in any of the modalities I’ve described or want to know if they’re a fit for your current phase of healing, please don’t hesitate to reach out. It’s an honor to walk this path with you.
In health, hope, and healing,
