Why I Made EBOO a Priority—for Me, for Gio, and for You
When I first heard about EBOO (Extracorporeal Blood Oxygenation and Ozonation), I knew it was something special. Not just as a physician—but as someone deeply invested in healing on a personal level. I’ve walked the healing journey myself, and I’ve walked it alongside my loved ones. That’s why when the opportunity came to invest in an EBOO system for my practice, I didn’t hesitate.
I didn’t buy it just for my patients—I bought it for my own healing and for Gio’s healing journey, too. I knew, without a shadow of a doubt, that this tool would become a powerful pillar in the healing of every soul who walks through our doors. Because when something shifts the body on such a deep cellular and energetic level, you don’t wait—you say yes.
And so I did.
What My First EBOO Session Was Really Like
I want to share what the experience of my first session was like—not just as a practitioner, but as a patient.
To start the treatment, my incredible team placed a 20-gauge catheter in both my right and left AC (antecubital) veins. It wasn’t the most comfortable experience, especially with my lipedema and some scar tissue making vein access more tender than usual. But my team was gentle, focused, and full of care.
Once the catheters were in place, we checked their patency using heparinized saline, pulling back gently to confirm good blood return. After confirming everything was flowing as it should, the team connected the primed tubing to the EBOO system, and we were ready to begin.
As the blood started circulating, the catheter in my right arm began giving us trouble—vein issues again. But my amazing staff didn’t miss a beat. They quickly reconfigured the system so that blood was being drawn from my left arm (a stronger vein) and returned into my right after it passed through the ozone and UV circuit.
EBOO works by filtering approximately 2 liters of your blood—oxygenating it with ozone in a dialysis-like membrane and then passing it through UV light, purifying and supercharging it before returning it to the body. There’s also a container to collect any excess or waste fluid removed during the process. Some people have little to no foam in that container.
Mine was full.
And I knew that meant something significant was being released.
Watching my blood travel through the system was surprisingly emotional. It left my body dark red—tired, toxic, burdened. Then, as it passed through the ozone and UV light, it transformed into a fire engine red—vibrant, oxygenated, alive with healing energy—before returning to me.
During the session, I felt a bit chilled and my arms became stiff, since movement is limited to keep the blood flowing steadily. But the sensations were manageable, and my team kept me warm and comfortable.
After the treatment, I felt something I hadn’t felt in a while: calm. My body wanted rest, and I honored that by lying down for a nap. I highly recommend that anyone doing their first EBOO session clears time afterward—you might be surprised how much your body wants to reset.
The next morning, I woke up and immediately noticed the change.
✨ Less inflammation.
✨ Deeper sleep.
✨ A sense of rest I hadn’t felt in years.
It was subtle yet profound—like something in my body finally exhaled.
This Is Why We Do What We Do
Bringing EBOO into our center wasn’t just a clinical decision—it was a soul-aligned one. I believe in therapies that empower the body to heal naturally, to release what no longer serves, and to invite in light and vitality.
If you’re navigating chronic illness, inflammation, mold exposure, fatigue, or any condition where your body needs deep detox and restoration, EBOO might be the missing piece.
I’m here for it.
Gio is here for it.
And I can’t wait to see what it unlocks for you.
